Aloha!

Aloha Phellow Parrotheads,

Although I’m retiring from the Presidency and the steering of this wonderful ship we know as PHCoEM, I’m certainly not leaving the club or going anywhere far away. I will always be here for this wonderful club and the most generous and giving Pholks that belong to it.

I want to personally thank the members of my BoD and all the Parrot Heads within our club and those in the other clubs that have supported me during my 6 years as President and Chairperson to the 2020 New England Parrot Head Convention. Having such great support and respect from all of you, have made this journey very cherishable for me.

Looking back on the past 6 years I’m amazed at the amount of volunteer time (11,466.50 hours) and money raised ($55,459.31) for all the charities that we support. And this doesn’t include what’s happened during the first half of 2020 which is an additional 5,071 volunteer hours and $19,140.00 for the charities. You all continue to amaze me in how much you are willing to give to help others and make this world a better place. All our charities have greatly benefited from your generosity.

I’ve made many phriends and wonderful memories throughout my time as your leader and I will cherish all our phun times together. Like any ship’s course there are times that you face rough waters or you turn left because the original right turn cannot happen. But through all of these times, we have learned how strong we are and how much we can accomplish when we work together.

I am honored to say that I am a part of this club and I have nothing but respect and support to Mac as she takes the wheel of the ship with the help of her wonderful bored to crew her into the future. May her sea stay calm and the wind help her through the waters ahead.

Thanks again for all the memories.

Phins Up and May Your Phins Always Take You Safely Home.

Sunshine
