Happy 4th of July!
As we head into the 4th of July weekend to celebrate our Independence day, things will be much different for this year with the COVID-19 pandemic. There will not be fireworks, there will not be parades, there will not be huge cookouts and other gatherings at the beaches, but there will be hope and faith that this year will not repeat itself and/or continue for a long period of time.
There will come a time when we will have those type of gatherings again, but until then, let's count all our blessings, let's have our small gatherings and celebrations, let's watch the previous years of fireworks on TV and watch the Boston Pops still perform in a safe manner for all of us.
Also please keep in your thoughts and prayers all our frontline workers, Fire & Police personnel, military personnel here and stationed abroad, grocery store workers and other essential workers along with their families, for they are the ones that are sacrificing a lot for the rest of us.
So please be safe, stay healthy and enjoy the best you can. Let's hope that Independence from COVID-19 will come soon.
