PHCOEM took place in the 27th Annual Harvest Festival and Scarecrow Contest at the Publick House in Sturbridge, MA. We took second place in the group category. We chose "A Pirate Looks at Forty" as our scarecrow theme. Members donated items and time to put together our bar scene. Big thanks to Tiffany and Shawn Davis, Sunshine and Richard Feldeisen, Donna Mac, Sheryl and Cainen Davis, Deb Beauregard, Terri Weissenberg, Katy Finn, Cheryl, Lisa and Eric Pontbriand. We couldn't have done it without you. We'll be back next year with bigger and better ideas. First place, we're coming for you!!
Some Charity Events thank yous for October:
Thanks to those who volunteered for the SOMA Senior Sports Games down the cape we served 330 Athletes, Coaches, volunteers and family/friends of the athletes. It was a beautiful sunny day and no one went away hungry.
Thanks to the brave souls who donated, walked or came out to volunteer for the Autism Speak Walk at Xfinity center on a cold and windy day, it was wonderful though to see all the smiling faces and to get the thank yous from so many people for donating our time.

Thank you to everyone that participated in this year's Halloween Party. Although we didn't have as many participants we still had an awesome time and the band Ship of Fools were incredible. Breast Cancer touched one of the band member's lives three fold, his mother-in-law, his mom and his sister so he was very touched that we were doing this. Even though there were less Heros and Villians that participated we still raised $450.00 for Susan G Komen's breast cancer awareness.

It's that time of year (Sat November 12, 2016) when we gather at the Feldeisen House (80 June Street, Northbridge, MA 01534) starting at 1pm til whenever, to put our creative juices together to create our Christmas Tree donation to the Springfield Festival of Trees hosted by the Boys and Girls Club. Last year we helped them to raise over $150,000. It's their largest fundraiser and truly one of my favorite events. This year's theme is "A Pirate's Life For Me"

Holiday Hangover Party 2017
Mark your calendar folks!!! It's time for PHCOEM's Holiday Hangover Party, Saturday January 21, 2017. The party is being held at the Portuguese Club, 119 Prospect Hts, Milford MA. 6-11pm. Join us for games, a "home cooked" meal by our own members Tiffany and Shawn from T&S Catering and dancing to our favorite tunes by DJ Mike Bollea. Price is $35 per person

For those that don't wish to drive and want to extend the experience, there is a block of rooms at Holiday Inn Express in Milford MA. Room reservations must be made prior to December 21, 2016 to secure the group rate and availability.

Although check out is 11am, they are providing us a room to hold personal items and have extended use of the pool until 6 pm on Sunday, Jan 22nd. There will be more details about how to register for the party, deadlines and information on other fun diddies coming soon. I sure do hope you all can join us for what I'm sure will be a PHun time!!
