End of Summer Update from the Prez


Well it's that time of year again. Where the summer is almost over and the school buses will start rolling again for all the towns next week. I hope that you all had a great summer filled with many wonderful memories of beaches, cocktails, concerts and vacations.

I would like to thank everyone who came out to the annual membership meeting and pool party on Sat. This club belongs to all of us, so if there is something you see that you want to discuss, any of the BOD members would be happy to listen to you at any time.

We are coming into several events and hope that you take the time to see what our upcoming events are by clicking here if there is something that you feel is missing, let us know.

There is the Bowl-a-thon on Sept 15th in the afternoon so if you are doing the Alzheimer's walk in the morning you'll have plenty of time to get down to have some fun bowling and enjoying our trivia games and bring a dish to share. For more info on it visit here bowl-a-thon.

Our next Newsletter comes out around Oct 1, 2019 - so if there is anything you would like to submit, an article, a recipe, a throw back photo, whatever, please send to phcoemnewsletter@gmail.com no later than Sept. 15, 2019.

We will be doing a membership drive along side of Ocean State Parrot Head Club (OSPHC) at Autumfest at 40 Snow Street, Woonsocket, RI on Sunday October 13th, from 4:30-7pm. There will be a free concert starting at 7pm by Changes in Latitudes and fire works at 9pm. So come out and wear your finest parrot head attire wear your badge and bring a friend, come early and enjoy the vendors and other stuff happening and Remember, the show is FREE!!!! I always look forward to seeing your smiling faces at all the different events that we have and I know that we leave a lasting and wonderful impression on all those that we help.

Don't forget we are hosting the 2020 NEPHC Convention. If you haven't already registered you might want to, since this will be the last convention as we know it. Also if you want to help out, please contact any one of the convention chairs which are listed on the Phin City News.

So in closing as always, thank you for all you do for this club and for the communities we serve. A little always goes a long way.
