Good evening phlock,

It is with heavy hearts we wish to tell you

that one of our cherished and dear phriends,

and a phlock member for many years

has passed away.  Marcia Bixby, you will be

sadly missed by so many.  I am still at a loss

for the right words at this moment.

This has been a difficult few weeks for

so many of us and words just can not

truly express emotions. Marcia was an honest,

kind-hearted, hard working soul

to all her knew her. We will miss you dearly,

so sorry and saddened you were

taken from us so soon.

Please hug someone today.

Heavy hearted,

President Mac

Hello Phlock,

I am sure by now you have all heard the extremely sad news of Jimmy’s passing.  He died peacefully with his family and dogs by his side.  We have his music and all of the wonderful memories of his shows and tailgates and parties and events we have all been part of all these years to celebrate.

He was truly  a troubadour, a pirate, a poet and for many of us a guidance counselor on how to navigate life's waters!  I truly am most grateful to him for bringing me this awesome group of phriends.

I would never have met so many of you if it were not

for all these years 25+ in this wonderful volunteer organization.  The fond memories we all have, the friendships we share, his music and ohhhhh the

so many stories we could tell.  So many pictures and

this, the Labor Day weekend of shows.

It is a very sad day.

Lets cherish the fact that he brought us together as phriends and PHamily.

Cheers Jimmy

Thank you for all you have done for so many and bringing us all together for all these years.

Sail on my friend we will miss you.

This from A Salty Piece of Land -

"Grief is like the wake behind a boat. It starts out as a huge wave that follows close behind you and is big enough to swamp and drown you if you suddenly stop moving forward. But if you do keep moving, the big wake will eventually dissipate. And after a long enough time, the waters of your life get calm again, and that is when the memories of those who have left begin to shine as bright and as enduring as the stars above."

 2022 Golden Coconut

Awarded to PHCOEM!

Good evening Phlock!

Finn and i wish to congratulate you all!

PHiP gives out the Golden Coconut Award annually at MOTM.

The judging is on a blind essay written about your club

with no clues on location, no pictures, no monetary values

and no hints as to what your club is, or its size.

This tradition started in 1996 and the winners are all posted on the PHiP

website.  Our club will now be honored and highlighted this year

on the National PHIP site!  No matter how many times I say it, it's just

not enough. Thank you for all you do for your communities

and each other!  This honored award is for each and every

one of you.  We would not have such an awesome club if it was

not for the great members in it!  Your continued support,

contributions, volunteerism, kindness and willingness to go

that little extra to help someone out does not go unnoticed!

You should all feel happy and extremely proud to receive

this award.  Just think, some of us may not have ever met

and made such life-long friendships that we

all so cherish right now if it were not for meeting here

or volunteering with the club at some point.

So again thank you!

You all make a difference!  You absolutely DO!

Thank you!

Be proud!

Make someone smile today!

A Most Grateful President Mac
